BIO
Cameron grew up in Midwest America. She graduated top of her class in Medical School, although her time in college was tinge with tragedy when she married at 21 and six months later, her husband died. She has admitted in the past that she knew her husband was terminally ill when she married him, and married him so he wouldn't have to die alone. Because of this, and her yearning to save people, Cameron does not deal well with death. After graduating Medical School, Cameron went on to work as an intern at the Mayo Clinic before accepting the job as part of Houses Diagnostics team at Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.

She recently resigned from House's team following House's abrupt sacking of Chase. She doesn't believe she did it to follow the Aussie, but she did miss him when he was gone. She still does not see any justification in House sacking Chase, and it led her to the decision to approach Chase and try a romantic relationship with him. It soon became evident, however, that neither of them really wanted this and they parted ways, but remained best friends and room mates (with a mutual agreement to return to their "friends with benefits" situation). She now works as Senior Attending Physician in the Emergency Room at Princeton Plainsboro, having accept the job offer from Dean of Medicine, Dr. Cuddy after she submitted her resignation to House.

Cameron bases her outlook on life upon very strong ethical and moral values. She is strong-minded, honest, caring, and holds often too idealistic views on life. Her decision to become a doctor stemmed from her mother telling her she had a good bedside manner, and that is something Cameron has never lost in her practice as a doctor. Before resigning, Cameron was the only female on House's Diagnostics team, and could have been viewed as the most empathetic of them all. Although she often feels like she is in a whirlwind of testosterone, especially having been the only female in the Diagnostics mix for so long, she knows she is certainly just as capable and successful a doctor as both Chase and Foreman. Although she loves her job, Cameron doesn't possess the same determination to succeed as Chase. Her main purpose for doing her job is to help those who aren't as fortunate as herself.

Cameron is kind-hearted, which isn't always a positive in her job. She can often be placed in positions of caring too much for patients, which has been known to occasionally leave her heartbroken when dealing with a terminally ill patients and their family. During her time working under House, Cameron learnt to become more assertive and vocal about her views and beliefs. This often lead her into confrontations with her colleagues, though she will always stand by her views and protect them if she knows she is right. Her biggest bugbear is House's blasé attitude to not only his patients, but life in general. Cameron believes that if she persists enough, one day she will succeed in breaking through House's tough exterior. Despite this, Cameron's loyalty to House has never wavered and even though she wouldn't admit it to anyone, she would do anything to help him. This remains today, even though she is no longer working for him.

Cameron isn't sure she believes in love. She thinks that if true love does exist, its almost impossible to find and contain. Because of this, she does not see much sense in wasting time looking for it. Her attitude towards love led her to begin a "friends with benefits" relationship with her colleague, Chase. However, she was quick to end it when Chase admitted to her he "wanted more". Cameron cannot explain why she didn't want to pursue anything with Chase, though she has moments of wondering if she made the right decision ending the affair when and how she did. She is, however, happy how things have turned out with him and cherishes the close bond of friendship they now have.
